Due to the nature of our business being the supply of fully customised print products we do not entertain cancellation requests once production of an order has begun. All cancellation requests received prior to the commencement of production will be honored, but may incur a fee based upon any labour costs incurred by us in the preparation of the order for production. This total amount of this fee will be at the discretion if management to decide but can vary between 10% and 25% of the total order cost.
All orders are shipped on completion via Nightline Couriers
We guarantee your discs will be
free from manufacturing defects. If your discs contain a manufacturing defect
– either in the printing or the burning – we will reprint your
discs. If you feel you have a legitimate return or rework claim, based on manufacturing
defects or shipping damage, please contact our representatives at
021-4893315. No reprints or refunds will be given after 30 days of receipt
of an order.
Our guarantee does not cover
problems with the disc content. Before placing a larger order, we strongly
suggest you order a sample disc to ensure the results meet your expectations
and your discs behave the way you want them to.
If your order is lost or
damaged in transit, contact us at 021-4893315 and we will replace or refund
your order as necessary.
If the discs you receive do not
play or burn on all players, burners, or drives, this is a compatibility issue
— not a manufacturing defect. The CD-R, DVD-R and BD-R media that we use
are the most compatible of any brand, but we cannot guarantee our discs will
work on your particular device, especially older players and drives. This is
true of any pre-manufactured blank disc.
Intellectual
Property Rights
You are entirely responsible
for the content you deliver to us for reproduction. Content includes, but is
not limited to, data, audio, video, images, text, graphics or other material
incorporated in your project. You are specifically responsible for obtaining
any permission for any project submitted to us which may be required from third
parties and warrant that your products do not infringe upon the rights of any
third party, including copyright, trademark or privacy.
Under Copyright Law you cannot reproduce other people's copyrighted works (including songs, recordings, movies, photographs and drawings) without first obtaining express or implied permission from the copyright owner or without qualifying for specific exemptions under the law, such as the use of works in face-to-face teaching activities and other specific types of "fair use." Trademark laws prohibit you from using another's trademark or trade name in a way that is likely to cause confusion or mistake about where the product comes from.
Your delivery of content to us
includes a representation from you that one, or any combination, of the
following is true: (1) you are the owner of the copyright in the content by
transfer and/or purchase from the copyright owner; (2) you created the content
yourself and own the copyright in the content; (3) you have a direct or implied
license from the copyright owner, or an authorized agent, to copy the content;

use" as defined by copyright laws
.
We have no obligation to
monitor any materials that you submit for duplication. However, you acknowledge
and agree that we have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor any

intellectual property rights and expect everyone who uses our services to also
respect them. We are relying on your representations and warranty about the
content you provide to us as a condition to your using our service. We reserve
the right to (a) cancel an order or cancel the account of anyone found to
violate the intellectual property rights of third parties and (b) to share the
submitter's account information with government organizations, law enforcement

1) SAFETY:
To ensure that all important
components, such as text and images are not in danger of being cut off, make
sure that they stay inside the green guidelines.
2) TRIM:
The red lines are the target
for cutting. While the manufacturing process is highly precise, you are still
dealing with paper being cut by a machine. Therefore, the exact cut line may
vary slightly.
3) BLEED:
Your design should extend past
the red Trim area all the way to the blue Bleed area. This ensures there will
be no white space once your insert is trimmed.
4) FOLD:
The grey dotted Fold line
indicates where the insert or tray card will be folded so you can design
accordingly. Note: Not all inserts are folded, so this line may not apply to
your particular design or package.
Be sure to test your master
thoroughly before mailing it. Duplication will result in an exact copy,
including any imperfections that may appear on your original master, including
audio errors such as disc pops, skips or static and data errors such as disc
volume names, file locations, etc. We will do our best to maintain the
integrity of your original content and we will copy your master exactly as it
is provided to us. Please ensure that the master plays and functions as intended
before submission for your order.
We recommend using only
high-quality brand CD-Rs, DVD-Rs. Discount branded media can present
problems during the duplication process. Problems with the master disc can
result in delays and/or a poor quality finished product.
You should label your master disc with the following information:
Your Name/Company Name, E-mail
address,
Your phone number,
The disc title
Hint: Sharpie markers and post
it notes work well for this.
Please do not mail us materials
that violate Copyright Law. You may not duplicate content to which you do
not own the rights including CDs you have purchased or tracks you have legally
downloaded from online music stores. For more information, see the Intellectual
Property Rights section.
Important: If you mail a disc,
do NOT send your only copy! We are unable to return any mailed in master discs.
Once your project is completed we will store the master disc for six months
before destroying and recycling it. Therefore is it crucial that you retain a
copy of your master.
Note: Production time begins
when we have received your complete order including final artwork and your
master. It is your responsibility to ensure that we receive all necessary
components in time to accommodate your project needs (remember to allow both
for production time and shipping time!
Place your master in a
well-padded disc mailer envelope or a stiff box with packing material (bubble
wrap is good) to ensure your master is not damaged in shipment.
Mail it to:
CD Duplication.ie
1 Glencurrig,
South Douglas Road,
Cork.
An order will exactly reproduce
the master we receive. Please test your master carefully before mailing it to
us. If there are flaws in the master, the finished copies will also have the
same flaws. For example; if you want your data CD to autorun but fail to place
the required file at the root level, the copies will not autorun since your
file structure will be reproduced exactly as received.
We do not accept returns due to
lower than expected quality if the discs are identical in content to your
master or uploaded data/audio. Please see the 'Returns'page for more
information.
